Let there be … and there was …
The power in God’s word played a
very significant role in the creation story (Gen. 1 & 2). Whatever He says
is done. (Num. 23:19)
He speaks to us in diverse ways
(Heb. 1:1) and also through His son (Heb. 1:2), through the bible which holds
the records of God's word, through the prophets and saints.
As Christians, do we really take our time to tap from the power in His words?
People read the bible for various reasons: to gain general knowledge, satisfying curiosity, for the purpose of arguments and so much more reasons which do not really benefit the soul.
Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. (2Tim 3:16)
There is much to learn from the word of God.

The bible is filled with
instructions, promises, corrections, prayers and so much more. So why not start
now.
I urge us to meditate on God’s word and do as it instructs (Josh 1:8) as well as sharing it with others.(Eph 6:15)

We pray to make it a habit to meditate on God’s word and also share it with others, Amen.
